We welcome Dr. Kauffman onboard as the UCOWR Board of Directors President, and appreciate his engagement in UCOWR over the last several years. Jerry was elected to the UCOWR Board beginning in July 2019, and served as a UCOWR delegate for the University of Delaware even before his election to the Board. Dr. Kauffman is the Director of the UDWRC (a NIWR institution) a position he has held since 2003. Jerry and his staff support and advise water resources planning and policy development activities of governments at the local, state, and regional levels. His specialty is watershed planning and management, with focus on drinking water supply and quality, environmental policy, and managing drought/flood events.
