In 2020, the UCOWR/NIWR Annual Conference had been scheduled in Minneapolis, MN. But the pandemic had other ideas. It was the year we all learned how to Virtual Conference! So we are trying it again. Join us in Minneapolis, MN!
2026
Date – TBA, San Antonio, TX
San Antonio is the 7th largest US City ans was founded in 1718 as a Spanish mission and colonial outpost. The 5 remaining missions were named as UNESCO World Heritage Site and contains remnants of the Acequia Madre de Valero – the canal system that diverted San Antonio River water to the missions and their agricultural fields in the area. San Antonio was at one time the larges city to rely exclusively on groundwater from the karst Edwards Aquifer for potable supplies which have since been diversified.
