The University of South Florida offers graduate opportunities in water resources leading to the degrees of Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in the College of Civil Engineering, and the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy with emphasis on groundwater in the School of Geosciences within the college of Arts and Sciences. Each student arranges a unique graduate program with the guidance of a faculty committee. The opportunity exists to select a concentrated course effort in one area of specialty or a broad-based interdisciplinary program. The Tampa Bay region, with its unique urban-suburban-estuary features, serves as a natural laboratory during the training period. Research assistantships and fellowships are available.
