Graduate courses related to water resources are offered by many departments of Kansas State University. Although there is no formal water resources curriculum, graduate study programs oriented toward water resources are available. Graduate degrees are awarded by the Departments of Agronomy, Economics, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Horticulture, Forestry, and Recreation Resources, and Entomology. Interdisciplinary programs between the departments are encouraged. The Kansas Water Resources Institute supports projects with emphasis on training personnel in the water resources field.
